[edit] spelling

Since both Romanization systems spell it 'sijo,' I don't suppose it should be changed, but since it is pronounced /shIjo/ I wonder if this can be indicated in some way. Why? 1) Any-one not conversant with Korean but who has (only) HEARD the word will never think to look for it under 'si.' 2) Some-one coming across the article is given no indication of how it's pronounced and could be quite embarrassed and confused, trying to talk to a Korean about "s-eye-Joe." I have no problem with that. I'd rather not get into the morass of ad-hoc phonetic spelling, though... I guess the ideal solutions would be either a) write the pronunciation in IPA script, or b) find a native speaker who is willing to be recorded pronouncing the word. -- Visviva 07:02, 5 August 2005 (UTC)
I agree with Visviva on the two preferred alternatives. Kdammers 17:28, 7 August 2005 (UTC)
