Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia is usually taken by those who are not Bumiputra. Matriculation is largely taken by those bumiputra and matriculation have only educated for 1 year with the significant less syllabus and the exam question is usually leak out in the matriculation,but it will still consider have the same grage with STPM althought it is low-level then STPM. Beside that,IPTA also usually consider first the ppl from matriculation,let them enter the course they want,regarding their not good result or didnt meet the requirement,the STPM student will be considered after the matriculation student have finish enter the IPTa, so matriculation and STPm is still largely debuted in malaysia. Matriculation also causes the bumiputra didnt get any job after they just finish their education from university.But malaysia government still said that matriculation will "produce" the better quality person then a normal STPM education. the question leakage, less syllabus n usually the no level ppl accepted into matriculation but it still praised by malaysia government..
