[edit] Peace symbol bliss
If your browser does not display the ☮ peace symbols in this article, please read my explanations. All Mac OS X browsers work natively. On Windows XP, Firefox works but may require installing East-Asian fonts. IE6 fails even with proper fonts. Your Linux mileage may vary. -- JFG 04:14, 27 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Oh come on
Wasn't the peace symbol just the style of his writing? Do you really think Prince actually meant the song to be called Sign (Peace sign) the Times? M.C. Brown Shoes 10:44, 24 June 2006 (UTC)
- Keep in mind, Prince later went on to call himself by the non-linguistic symbol for seven years. At least we can pronounce this album as "Sign of the times" even if it isn't spelled that way. --Metropolitan90 05:31, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- Not only that, but even the Japanese release, which translates all titles into katakana, has the peace symbol instead of the word "Of". Check it: [1] --Matharvest 03:44, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Thirdly, if you purchase the song on iTunes it is listed as "Sign 'O' the Times" War wizard90 04:55, 5 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Move
The peace sign is a stylized typography. Even on the Japanese cover, the ruby clearly reads オフ (o-fu). Chris cheese whine 12:20, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
