[edit] QJ/WIN?

Gottlieb was not QJ/WIN! Accoriding to the Church Committe, Agent QJ/WIN was a foreign agent with a criminal background under Bill Harvey's Executive Action Program ZR/Rifle. The agent's name was never disclosed as per intelligence doctrine of keeping sources secret.

King Turtle explained his revert, it was not unfounded so I am taking back this personal comment that I directed at King Turtle. --AI 21:49, 23 July 2005 (UTC)

What content are you disputing?--AI 22:46, 13 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Irmgard, this was one of the first articles I wrote and regrettably I didn't log the references I used. (Some of them were government documents, btw) I believe others who are familiar with the subject can also verify that this article does not contain innacuracies. Give me time and I will try to reference EVERYTHING written in this article. You can help verify it if you search for Gottlieb plus keywords in google.com. --AI 21:42, 23 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Article: "The Maddest Mad Scientist"

"The Maddest Mad Scientist" The CIA’s Dr. Sidney Gottlieb
Excerpt from the book "THE WORLD'S WORST: A Guide to the Most Disgusting, Hideous, Inept and Dangerous, People, Places and Things on Earth" by Mark Frauenfelder ISBN: 0811846067

..."After hours of hotly contested debate, the artist decided to pay his part of the bill and go home, but one of the strangers—a man with a clubfoot—insisted on buying him a drink as a way to make up for their argument. Instead of calling over the waiter who’d been serving drinks to the party all evening, the clubfooted man went to the bar himself and bought a Chartreuse for Glickman.

"Before he even finished his cocktail, Glickman began to feel "funny." The walls appeared to move, the electric lights in the café were ringed with halos, and wine bottles seemed to levitate on Glickman’s silent behest. Another member of the party told Glickman that he was now capable of "performing miracles."

"Unbeknownst to Glickman, the clubfooted man had spiked his drink with LSD."...

The full article can be found through google if you follow this link: Results 1 - 10 of about 170 for "The Maddest Mad Scientist" Gottlieb. I am not endorsing this as an authentic story, but it is not suprising consiering Sidney Gottlieb. --AI 22:07, 23 July 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Colonel?

"Perhaps the timely death of Col Gottlieb. opened the door." - Col. L. Fletcher Prouty[1] Was Sidney Gottlieb a Colonel? --AI 23:34, 23 July 2005 (UTC)

He was never in the military, although his civilian rank would be equivalent to that of a Colonel or higher. --208.52.112.70 02:46, 1 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] German scientist?

I wouldnt be surprised is he was an imported post-war German "scientist" with fraud identity brewed by US government. This is just a comment and a thought that I think is worth to think about.

I think, that is the case. Joseph Schneider (typical German name), born in the Bronx? No way. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 217.255.19.151 (talk) 06:22, 20 February 2007 (UTC).

[edit] Vietnam

"Less known was an operation within the CIA's Phoenix Program in Vietnam where a team of CIA psychologists performed mind control experiments on NLF suspects being detained at Bien Hoa Prison outside of Saigon. Through electrode implants in the brain, the prisoners were manipulated to attack each other with knives. The experiment was a failure and the prisoners were shot and their bodies burned."

- is there any proof of this? Schrandit 06:54, 22 March 2006 (UTC)
Quite often not, but it does not mean it didn't happen. Like so much else that is instigated by covert forces, proof of such is hard to come by. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 82.43.189.130 (talk) 19:03, 2 February 2007 (UTC).
