Sidney class ferry

The Sidney Class Ferries consist of the original two ferries built for the British Columbia Ferry Corporation in 1960. Both of these ferries were built in Victoria for Gulf Island Ferries, which was bought out by BC Ferries on September 1, 1961.[1][2]
There is currently one Sidney class ferry remaining in service, the Queen of Tsawwassen. Its sister ship, the Queen of Sidney was retired on November 28, 2000.
