Sidi Lakhdar

Sidi Lakhdar is a town in the Ain Defla Province, Algeria. It is located at 36°15′50″N, 2°9′39″E, and is approximately 120km west of the capital, Algiers.

Under French colonial rule, the town was known as Lavarand. It changed its name in 1962.
