Sidestream smoke

Sidestream smoke is smoke coming from the end of a smoldering cigarette. The chemical constituents of sidestream smoke are different to those of directly inhaled ("mainstream") smoke.
Some evidence suggests that sidestream smoke may be more harmful than mainstream smoke.
Sidestream smoke contributes towards passive smoking.
