Sid Shuman is perhaps best known as "Vicious Sid," an editor featured in GamePro magazine; his cartoon avatar depicts him as a sneering deshelved guy wearing a green suit.

He began a freelancing stint at GamePro magazine in 1998, a freelancing position he kept until he joined the magazine full-time in 2004. He currently serves as as the news editor for both the magazine and the website, GamePro.com. He has appeared as a guest on the G4 cable channel show "Filter."
