Sid Hudson

Sidney Charles (Sid) Hudson (born January 3, 1915 in Coalfield, Tennessee) is a former starting pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for the Washington Senators (1940-1942, 1946-1952[start]) and Boston Red Sox (1952[end]-1954). He batted and threw right handed.

In a 12-season career, Hudson posted a 104-152 record with 734 strikeouts and a 4.28 ERA in 2181.0 innings pitched.
