Sicklerville, New Jersey

Sicklerville, New Jersey (latitude 39.717N, longitude -74.969W) is an unincorporated community located primarily within Winslow Township and Gloucester Township, Camden County, New Jersey. It was founded in 1851 by John Sickler, who lived in the area where the present-day town is located within Winslow Township. The area is served as United States Postal Service ZIP Code 08081.

Sicklerville was created along the Williamstown Branch of the Williamstown-Delaware River Railroad Line. John Sickler built the first railroad station there. The station transported glass goods to the New Jersey coast and to Philadelphia.
In 1874, the Sicklerville Post Office was established. Paul H. Sickler was appointed the first Postmaster. Today, the Post Office is located near the original location on Sicklerville Road. The post office also services contiguous addresses in portions of Gloucester Township and Washington Township.
