Sian Sofia
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Sian Sofia is a becoming female singer-songwriter from Lancashire, known primarily for her mellow voice, heart-felt lyrics and sweet-tempered guitar style.
She has enjoyed monumental success for a teenager; she has showcased her talent at countless local venues around Lancashire.
Sian graduated from now-defunct Habergham High School in 2005 with glossy results. She now studies A-levels at a withheld college.
Sian Sofia's lyrics often deal with intricate issues (for example "His Gallic Skies"). In addition to the ability to write about such difficult topics with immaculate understanding, she also feels at home making her audience laugh. She paints scandalous pictures with her lyrics about her town's teenage whore ("She's Poison"), claiming this girl wears a "contreceptive crown" and has herpes - clearly a fan favourite with it's catchy chorus and warped-yet-fun verses.
According to a recent interview on Channel M, Sian Sofia is planning to release a single in about six months. The single will be accompanied by a video and eventually an album.
Until more information regarding official releases are made available, Sian Sofia's MySpace is the best place for the latest songs/gig details.
