Shwan Jalal (born August 14, 1983 in Baghdad, Iraq) is a footballer goalkeeper of Iraqi descent, currently playing for Peterborough United. He grew up in Hastings, England, United Kingdom while attending William Parker School. He began his professional career at Tottenham Hotspur before joing Woking. He has also appeared for the England National Game XI on numerous occasions. He recently returned to Woking after a month's loan at Sheffield Wednesday F.C. before moving for an undisclosed fee to Peterborough United.
