[edit] hello

your edit. It has been on there for a really long time. It represents a vehicle Jimbo uses when he travels: "These are the voyages". I think it's supposed to be there. DyslexicEditor 06:46, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Nope. He drives either a Hyundai or a Ferrari. Those are the two cars Jimbo is known to own. That image is a reference (at least on Wikipedia) to the Willy on Wheels vandal. --Shultz IV 06:52, 30 April 2006 (UTC)

Hyundia is a cheap car and Ferrari is an expensive car. Odd. Well for the later it shows wikipedia donations are being syphoned off. But the thing is nobody else but you noticed the picture. Someone even put the o and the w (words spelled out) after the "these are the voyages" and they got reverted and banned, but the image stayed. DyslexicEditor 08:29, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
Jimbo was already independently wealthy even before he started up Wikipedia. That's how he's able to afford the Ferrari. I'm hoping the donations are put to good use. You could ask the Help Desk for a rundown on how they allocate their funds (For example: 23% is spent on (expense 1), 38% is spent on (expense 2), etc...) --Shultz IV 14:02, 30 April 2006 (UTC)
Okay I didn't know that. Now the only reason for the keeping the image is that it's funny. It would be better with Jimbo's face photoshopped into it (I mean obviously a different version of the file, not a change of the existing). I won't move it back, not at all. I just... You know what it's funny that nobody before you noticed it and you're the only one who was all "how dare someone put that picture here" when nobody else cared to notice--a lot of people are stuck on permanent bot and maybe didn't even see what the picture was. DyslexicEditor 03:16, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Odd, an admin went right out and reverted you and everyone was happy with it. Strange, isn't it? DyslexicEditor 05:56, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

I hope the admin didn't do that to bully me around; he probably thought the image was OK, despite its vandalistic reputation. Don't worry, someone else replaced it with a hot-air balloon. --Shultz IV 20:23, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
I changed it to a person in a go-cart, but I was originally wanting a rickshaw. The problem is the free rickshaw pictures here don't show up too well. Maybe something else would be better besides balloon or the picture I currently put. I thought about a chariot but didn't think the current pictures here when resized down would do it. Hmm... maybe a person on a camel? DyslexicEditor 04:53, 5 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Linux kernel screenshots

If you want screenshots of the "Linux OS", I suggest you check out some of the distribution articles, or the GNOME and KDE articles. The Linux kernel is just that, a kernel. The only screenshot you might get of it is the configuration or build process in a terminal. And that's not very interesting - Image:Xterm.png —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Imroy (talkcontribs).

[edit] A landslide victory for The JPS (aka RFA thanks)

Hey, Shultz IV, thank you so much for your vote and comments in my RfA, which passed with an overwhelming consensus of 95/2/2. I was very surprised and flattered that the community has entrusted me with these lovely new toys. I ripped open the box and started playing with them as soon as I got them, and I've already had the pleasure of deleting random nonsense/attacks/copyvios tonight.
If I ever do anything wrong, or can help in some way, please feel free to drop me a line on my talk page, and I will do my best to correct my mistake, or whatever...
Now, to that bottle of wine waiting for me...

The JPS talk to me 21:39, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] RfA success

The consensus is that "In general, candidates with over 80% support are likely to succeed, and it is unusual for those below 75% to succeed, but all cases are weighed on their merits." Master of Puppets had around two-thirds support, which is a fairly high level, but doesn't represent a consensus. It may well be that a future nomination would succeed. You may find Wikipedia:Guide to requests for adminship of interest. Warofdreams talk 23:26, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

Apologies - I did mean to leave the above message on your talk page; I'm glad to see you fixed it! Warofdreams talk 23:38, 3 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for the support on my RfA!

Image:Danavecpurpletiger.jpg A belated thank you to you for Supporting my RFA! It passed 54/2/3, much better than I expected! I am still finding my feet as an Administrator, and so far I am enjoying the experience. I am honoured that you felt I was ready to take up this position, and wish to thank you formally! I hope I can live up to your expectations of me. Once again, thank you! --Darth Deskana (talk page) 19:15, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Curious. What did it look like?

Can anyone show us what it looked like? I wish I'd have seen it before deletion. --Shultz IV 10:15, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

Yeah. I had come to the page after it was deleted but I kept it one my watch page. As soon as it was re created I knew it would be re deleted so I copied it to my sub page. User:Yskyflyer/save. I Might not be allowed to have the copy on my sub page but what the heck. I also saved a copy to my computer in case somebody deleted my sub page. Do Not use this to recreate the page. (actually it is protected now so you can't anyway). Although there are ways to recreate the template, Don't try to other than on you user Sub pages--E-Bod 21:43, 4 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] CityRail trains

Why was CityRail trains labelled as a copyright violation. JROBBO moved the content from the CityRail article and rewrote the content to make it more readable. Harryboyles 08:41, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

It obviously looked like a copy/paste from a website somewhere. If it wasn't, the fact that it had rarely-used fonts on this site made it look like a copy/pasted copyvio. Sorry. --Shultz IV 08:44, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] KSU (band) AfD

There is something wrong with the Template:AfD you used in the KSU (band) article. The link to the article's entry on the AfD page is broken and I couldn't find the deletion discussion anywhere. Could you take a look at this? And by the way, this band is well known in Poland and I think it's perfectly notable. Jogers (talk) 16:27, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

Oh, I've just figured out what you meant. I removed the AfD template for the reason given above. Sorry for the confusion. Jogers (talk) 16:40, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

I was about to remove the template too when I hit a conflict with Jogers. If you would like list this article on AfD, you need to do a bit of research on the subject and write-up a convincing nomination. There are easy-to-follow directions at WP:AFD#How to list pages for deletion. By the way, this band also has articles at pl:KSU and be:KSU. Regards. ×Meegs 16:44, 6 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:Groval-land

Hi Shultz IV,

Generally it isn't a good idea to edit another user's user page (granted, he did it to you first). Also, do you have any basis for assuming that Groval-land is actually a native speaker of Korean? I hadn't notice him making that declaration. There are people of other nationalities who live in South Korea, although not many. I really think it would be best if you revert your own edits to his page, although of course that's up to you.

I think I've blown my chance at rapport with Groval-land, so will generally be keeping my distance unless serious issues arise, which I rather hope they don't. (For the record, my own conversational Korean also leaves much to be desired). He does seem like an interesting guy, although his contributions thus far have been problematic.

Cheers, -- Visviva 12:46, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

I don't know why he doesn't type Korean thus far yet, however this is the English WP and therefore, he might think it's not OK to converse in Korean here and may have therefore even gotten an account on the Korean Wikipedia. I guess if he doesn't approve of my edits to his userpage, he can revert it if he wishes.
Here's evidence that he may be a resettled North Korean defector (like Gang Cheol-hwan.) --Shultz IV 12:56, 7 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] IRC

Yes, I did see your reply and I understand that you are concerned, but the way I see it, I don't think any of the three points should be hard for you to avoid doing. Just stick to contributing to the encyclopedia and you should be just fine. Sorry I didn't see your IRC invitation; I must not have been at the computer or else I would have joined the channel. I have some stuff to take care of today, but I may be online later... (ESkog)(Talk) 15:41, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Hey guys. Let me begin by saying to you, Shultz, that I cannot, for the life of me, fathom what would have made you want to upload a picture of ESkog [nothing against ESkog, but I don't see how doing so could be construed as an even remotely productive activity]. Beyond that, I fail to understand how you could think that doing so would be regarded by ESkog (or anyone else) as a good or even acceptable thing to do. It's not discourteous to upload someone's image, but it's in incredibly bad taste, and a potential violation of Wikipedia's harassment policy. I'm sure you'll find that if you direct your energy toward building the encyclopedia's article and project space, you'll find that you're not stepping on so many toes. Now to both of you...if you guys are having difficulties with each other that I can help ameliorate in some way, please don't hesitate to let me know. I hope that, as it appears from ESkog's comment above at least, the latest "landmine" has been overcome... Cheers, Tomertalk 00:19, 16 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Futurology in Wikipedia

Shultz, I have reverted this edit as it seems to violate our policy on what Wikipedia is not, specifically the part about a "crystal ball". Speculative futurology is certainly an interesting topic for a blog, or even another wiki, but material here needs to be better sourced than that can be at this time. We don't want to give our readers the false impression that dechronification is a confirmed thing or that a lot of reliable sources (in science, the best thing would be a peer-reviewed journal) have written about it. Thanks for understanding - the rest of your contributions look great. (ESkog)(Talk) 17:12, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

Just because someone writes about something online doesn't make it a reliable source - all of your sources seem to point to one advocate for this idea; this discussion already dealt with those sources you cite and found them to be inadequate. (ESkog)(Talk) 17:16, 17 May 2006 (UTC)
Yes, I think Scientific American would probably be a worthwhile source for starting an article on the topic. Some of the stuff you have in the current version of the article isn't really encyclopedic (it seems to be more of a sales pitch), but we can work together on that when and if the time comes. Again, everything else you've been doing looks great. (ESkog)(Talk) 16:15, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Madeleine

Just wanted to mention that I like your dab link on the page about madeleines. It's clever and it avoids the clumsiness of the sentence you removed. Good stuff! | Mr. Darcy talk 14:58, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Sukh's RFA - Thanks!

Thank you for your vote on my RfA. Unfortunately there was no consensus reached at 43 support, 18 oppose and 8 neutral. I've just found out that there is a feature in "my preferences" that forces me to use edit summaries. I've now got it enabled :) Thanks again. Sukh | ਸੁਖ | Talk 15:46, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Quixtar

I've never been involved with it myself; I got in as a result of someone else's request for help trying to deal with the external links section a while back, so I've become pretty familiar with the article here and the available online sources... (ESkog)(Talk) 19:50, 24 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] My RFA

Image:Nuvola apps package wordprocessing.png Thank you for your recent vote on my RFA, regardless of how you voted. I appreciate all votes. I am going to wait until I have more edits in all namespaces. (And also improve answering impossible questions ;). Hopefully one day I will be more sucessful than it was looking, once I meet most user's voting standards. Again, thanks for your time! ~Linuxerist E/L/T 02:09, 26 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tone's RfA thanks

Dear Shultz IV — Thank you for your support on my recent RfA. It succeeded with a final tally of 46/2/3 so now I am an administrator. I'll be taking things slowly at first and getting used to the new tools, but please let me know if there's any anything I can help you with in the future. And please correct me, if you spot I make a mistake. Thank you again. --Tone 00:01, 27 May 2006 (UTC))
"And please correct me, if you spot I make a mistake." --> "Moreover, please correct me if you spot me making a mistake." ;) --Shultz IV 07:05, 27 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Miguel Terrazas

Hi you tagged this page with notability, The article had two references to Miguel when you tagged it and he'll return a load of hits if you google him or look him up in google news [1]. Is there a basis to your concern? --Paul E. Ester 03:01, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

I never heard of him and based on what I skimmed through, I kind of thought he was a commoner, so I questioned his notability. Upon further review (after waking up and seeing your message), I guess he's more notable than I previously thought. --Shultz IV 06:57, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Makes sense. Thanks. --Paul E. Ester 14:05, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thank you for your comments in Lar's RfA!

We are here to build an encyclopedia!

Hi Shultz, and thank you for your supportive comments in my request for adminship! With a final tally of (109/5/1), I have been entrusted with adminship. It's been several weeks since the conclusion of the process, so hopefully you've had a chance to see me in action. Please let me know what you think! Thanks again, and I will do everything I can to justify the trust you've placed in me! ++Lar: t/c 03:25, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] User:Јіmbо Wales the doppelganger

Before placing a tag on this page to prevent it from ever being used to impersonate Jimbo, shouldn't the account exist first. (theres no contributions link to the left when you visit that page). DGX 01:13, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reply 1

I place the doppelganger-other tag before creating a doppelganger account in case I don't log off in time to avoid the autoblock. This way, I'd show admins that I was just creating a doppelganger so I can get them to un-autoblock me quickly. Some admins have bots that look for certain expressions in newly-created usernames and can block them in less than 10 seconds. --Shultz IV 01:17, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reply 2

Oh, well thats fine. I thought you weren't creating the account at all. ;-) But thats fine, sorry for disturbing you. Smart idea really, but I think it might get hit with a block anyways. DGX 01:28, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Post by Kevin Breitenstein

Don't trouble yourself that much with creating dopplegangers, as there are a lot of permutations that create the representation of 'Jimbo Wales' Kevin Breitenstein 04:40, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reply to Kevin Breitenstein

Jimbo is one of the most heavily-targeted users by vandals on Wikipedia, for obvious reasons. This is why I've decided to impostorproof Jimbo as thoroughly as I can. I'm also building credibility through this impostorproofing effort. It shows other users that I know what's good for Wikipedia and will do what I can to make it better and safer. ESkog even praised me for doing this and it's become a sort of hobby for me. --Shultz IV 04:58, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Comment by NSLE

Personally, from an admin standpoint, would suggest that it isn't needed, and we'll take appropriate action against impostor accounts when necessary. NSLE (T+C) at 05:16 UTC (2006-06-01)

[edit] Reply to NSLE

It's good to prevent something bad before it happens. It also gives would-be impostors less and less options to make an impersonating name.

Another good thing I do is patrol the Newpages and tag non-notable articles for speedy deletions. The obvious downside to that is these contributions won't show up on my edit history because the article gets deleted soon after. I want the community to have more good things to say about me so I'm working towards this by making contributions I also can show. --Shultz IV 05:35, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

Sometimes too much of a good thing can be bad, so don't overdo it. Otherwise, keep up the good work. NSLE (T+C) at 05:49 UTC (2006-06-01)

[edit] "cruft" subpages

I consider all of them cruft. The first three have nothing to do with building an encyclopedia. You already have a weblog, so I don't see why your hobbies belong here. The encounters one is the most encyclopedia-related, but it seems divisive. The song lyrics one would be irrelevant if there was any content. The rescue pages seem to me to be counterproductive. And the PIHNN page was just beyond the pale in its offensiveness. So, basically, I think all of them either distract or detract from the encyclopedia, and are thus cruft. This is just my opinion, of course. I understand that you might have a different vision of what this place is than I do. · rodii · 02:19, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Blnguyen's RfA

Hello Shultz. Thank you for your full support and gracious comment at my request for adminship which ended at the overwhelming and flattering result of (160/1/0), and leaves me in a position of having to live up to a high standard of community expectation. You can see me in action and observe what then happened as a result. If you need admin assistance, feel free to ask me. Naturally, if I make any procedural mistakes, feel free to point them out. I look forward to working with you in the future, hopefully as an admin. Blnguyen | Have your say!!! 03:34, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Thanks for welcoming me

Hi. I am not exactly very new to the encyclopedia. I have been editing as an anonymous editor for quite a long time, and I have taken care to read some of the policies and guidelines on wikipedia. I request you to go through my contributions on Asperger syndrome and advise me if I am wrong anywhere. Thank you. --Nearly Headless Nick 12:37, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

I was not aware that it was a UNIQ code. I was simply removing earlier code which appeared to be gibberish on the article and I surely did not put any UNIQ code by myself. I have been to IRC and was been helped by many editors and so I improved my monobooks :). Can you tell me how do I add items to my watchlist? --Nearly Headless Nick 12:52, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Doppelgänger Blocked

I just saw that User:Јіmbο_Wales has recently been indef-blocked for an inappropriate username. The tag says to notify you when action is taken against your Doppelgänger, so I'm just letting you know. I don't really see any reason to unblock though; the account wasn't intended to be used for editing, I'm assuming. AmiDaniel (talk) 06:14, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

That's correct. After applying the {{doppelganger-other}} tag, I made the account and logged off of it immediately. Impostorproofing is a hobby I've embarked on recently. Anyways Ami, thank you for letting me know. --Shultz IV 06:28, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Re: Impostorproofing

I did say that I don't think you're doing any harm by creating these doppelgangers. However, I also said that we have several tools running all the time to watch for problematic new usernames which include most of these alternate characters you're using, so I don't think you are really having much of an impact.

Don't worry about trying to make this community "like" you - as I said, that's not what we're really here for, and there will be some who will never like you. Try to make positive contributions, especially to articles, and the respect of the community will follow. (ESkog)(Talk) 11:17, 1 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Reply to ESkog

No one blocked this occurrence of Jimbo's doppelganger as of yet. I didn't expect that. If an impersonator inserts non-latin letters thoroughly enough, these tools you mention may not detect it. I encourage beefing up these tools' detection methods though.

About the comment that "there will be some who will never like you", that applies to everybody on Wikipedia, does it? It's something I've wrestled with for the majority of my life- I would vehemently struggle to get as many people as possible to like me. It never completely works but I've kept trying anyway because I felt like I was inching ever closer towards the goal without actually reaching it, thinking I could maybe reach it any day now. This habit is as difficult to kick as smoking perhaps, because I also know that if I don't keep trying to make people like me anymore, I could start to lose friends due to "lack of maintenance" so to speak. --Shultz IV 03:02, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Yes, I'd say it applies to everyone on Wikipedia as well as in life. If your goal is to be universally liked, you're doomed to always be unhappy. Just try to be yourself and listen to the advice of others; you'll do fine. I'll respond to the other incident below. (ESkog)(Talk) 04:26, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] AGFing and a Long Term Abuse page

Well, given the history of low-level conflict between you two, I think it would be the most likely assumption for someone to think you were being sarcastic in that edit summary. It just seems a bit over the top and unnecessary - why did you feel the need to mention that the previous edit was his in the first place? Now as someone who has talked with you extensively, I don't really think that kind of sarcasm is really your nature, and it is likely that you are being serious (although in an oddly phrased way). I don't think it's accurate to call your actions trolling, but I think we've discussed several times the need for you to be careful around users with whom you have had prior conflicts. Remember:

  • There is no need to let yourself get worked up around one user. You are both extremely productive members of the community when you aren't dealing with each other.
  • It doesn't matter one iota what image is displayed on a Long Term Abuse page. Edit warring over it may well be considered WP:LAME (that page is quite a funny read actually) and certainly isn't worth getting upset about.
  • As a contributor, I think you are at your best when improving articles, especially those dealing with Korean geography and culture.

In general, you should spend less time doing things trying to make others happy and instead focus on improving Wikipedia with your expertise. Ultimately, that is the fastest way to earn the genuine respect of other contributors here. (ESkog)(Talk) 04:35, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Life Update (6-12-2006)

I have been out of town in the past several days, so this is why I haven't edited here in a while. I was helping my family move to a new hometown and I'm back only tonight. Tomorrow, I'll have to be off again- I only came back to take care of business that could only be taken care of here in my town. I'll be gone for at least one day tomorrow, maybe more, because I still have the old house to clean up. There is still a lot to sweep, vacuum, and throw away. It's a big job, so I don't know how long it will take. I'll get a nice reward in the end, and that is only if I do a good job. --Shultz IV 22:34, 12 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Life Update (6-23-2006)

There's still a lot to do with the house we're getting ready to sell (chip off old paint, repaint, install new windows, clean the basement, et al.) but I'm back only for this weekend. I needed some R&R time after so much work, but I'll have to leave again on Monday (6-26-2006) and get right back to the routine. Looks like summer's not much fun once you've started college (or high school for HS students who work in the summer.) --Shultz IV 22:55, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] PIHNN

It seems your page was deleted by another administrator, but the trend of the "vote" was pretty clear (and, to be fair, I would have suggested that you request its deletion as well). As we discussed, this doesn't really have a place anywhere on Wikipedia, even in Userspace, as it doesn't really lead us any closer to our goal of having a comprehensive well-written encyclopedia. I hope that you will continue to contribute to the article space. (ESkog)(Talk) 05:09, 13 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Chongjin

Hello, I am half-guessing you know this by now already, but referring to your modification of the Revised Romanisation for Chongjin almost two months ago, I'd like to mention that while Ch- (and -j-) in MR does correspond to J- (-j-) in RR, Ch'- in MR corresponds to Ch- in RR, so Cheongjin and not Jeongjin was the correct one (which is why Chuch'e => Juche and not Juje). But the apostrophe is often dropped in English so that's probably what confused you! Just thought you might like to know :D -- KittySaturn 16:42, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

P.S. It seems that you have done the same with Chollima; I don't know how many others similar to this you have modified; hopefully that's all! -- KittySaturn 16:54, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

PP.S. By the way, we do have ŭ => eu, however, ŭi is just ui in RR, not eui. :-) -- KittySaturn 17:52, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Samcheonpo

Hi, Samcheongpo (a typo of Samcheonpo) now redirects to Sacheon because officially, there's no such city. --Kjoonlee 05:57, 17 July 2006 (UTC)

Ok. After reading this, I read on a talkpage (don't remember the exact one anymore) that Samcheonpo merged with Sacheon in 1995. Google Earth showed me Samcheonpo (and spelled "Samcheongpo") about ten or so miles south of Sacheon. I'm guessing it's time Google Earth got an update. --Shultz IV 02:31, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] hey guy

For the record, I have nothing whatsoever against you. The page was created when I was trying to find you a mentor...and its deletion was long overdue. I took the comment off one of the User:IP pages, but I think a better approach to getting the notices removed from those pages is to get freak to remove them hirself. If you feel uncomfortable approaching freak about it yourself, that's something ESkog should be able to convince freak to remove. If you check out my contribs the past few months, you'll notice I haven't been very active lately, so I can't give a very reliable testimony to freak regarding your more recent contributions...I'm glad to see from your userpage that you and ESkog are apparently getting along quite well. Really tho, when it comes to undoing the actions of another admin, I get uncomfortable--I'm much more comfortable persuading the other admin to undo their action themself...it avoids a great deal of conflict. As you may recall, this was the approach I took when finding you a mentor to begin with... All the best, Tomertalk 02:06, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Concordia Newsletter

NEWSLETTER

Concordia is currently trying to relaunch. I, and all the members of the ex-council, wish to welcome new members to the group. We are a group who aim to promote remaining civil, in an environment where messages can easily be interpretated wrongly.

[edit] Help out now!

  • Try and help people remain civil! Talk to them, and help them in any way possible. Do not be afraid to use the talk page.
  • Give people the Civility Barnstar.
  • Make and spread some Wikitokens so people know there are people to help if they want assistance.
  • Add banners or logos to your userpage to show your support.
  • Suggest some ideas! Add 'em to the talk page.

We are a community, so can only work though community contributions and support. It's the helping that counts.

[edit] Decision Making

The council expired one month ago, but due to the current position of the group the current council will remain until the position of the group can be assessed, and whether it would be sensible to keep Concordia going. For most decisions, however, it will be decided by all who choose to partake in discussions. I am trying to relaunch because of the vast amounts of new members we have received, demonstrating that the aims are supported.

If you wish to opt of of further talk-page communications, just let us know here.

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Korean Wikipedia's April Fools gag.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Korean Wikipedia's April Fools gag.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. —Remember the dot (t) 22:07, 7 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:Shultz IV/Exameter Road

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article User:Shultz IV/Exameter Road, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hey, sorry to see Exameter Road go - hope it manifests somewhere else on the Web. Adambrowne666 07:01, 12 March 2007 (UTC)
