ShuttleSpace
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The common regions that are defined in both physical and virtual 3D space. Best defined by zero/zero points grid axis lines defined by laser.
Example: A person wants to interact with animated snowflakes falling around him/her. When creating the 3D animation the snow flakes would not be present in the defined space that the person would occupy.
When the video layer of the person is shot there would be specific x,y,z parameters that the person would occupy. These parameters can be cross-referenced with the points in the 3D Software.
The commenly defined areas represent ShuttleSpace.
