Shuco

Shuco is a Spanish slang word that can have different meanings:

  • Atol shuco ("looking dirty" in Central American slang) - a Salvadoran hot beverage made of Maize usually taken with ground seeds black beans and ground dried red hot chile. The name generally refers to the look of the drink, hence the name "looking dirty".
  • In Guatemala, shuco may refer to two different things:
  • Slang for "dirty"
  • Popular name for a version of the hot dog, usually accompanied with guacamole
