Thanks for your support on my request for adminship. The final outcome was (80/3/0), so I am now an administrator. I was flattered by the level of support and the comments, so I'm under real pressure not to disappoint, thus if you have any queries, suggestions or problems with any of my actions as an admin then please leave me a note --pgk(talk) 11:41, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[edit] QwertysoupHi there Shreshth91, Im SWD316. I would like for you to join in of the conversation about the above user at Wikipedia talk:Are You a Wikipediholic Test about his possible fake score on the test. I contacted you because you were one of the top scorers on the test, so you could probably tell if the score is fake or not. We would appriciate your input. I appreciate the kind words that you used in your comments. If I can be of any service please leave me a message --rogerd 01:25, 13 January 2006 (UTC) [edit] Awesome and amazingHi Shreshth, just as I was about to embark on an RC Patrol I saw your userpage on the Recent Changes - My jaw dropped when I got to know that you're just 14. It tells me that you were not even born when I was in my 9th standard. No wonder you did a good job with Fundamental Rights etc. - CBSE syllabus, especially for Civics, is damn good and was my favorite in school. Just thought I should drop in a line, to commend you for the maturity you have shown beyond your age. And, all the best for a bright future, --Gurubrahma 13:31, 14 January 2006 (UTC) [edit] Please check Criticisms section in Constitution of IndiaPlease check the section of criticisms. [edit] Thanks a ton......for the barnstar! This is the first of its variety in my collection ;). btw, I have voted for Fundamental... for INCOTW - I think it would be the canddidate either next week or the week after that. I hope it will be improved to a better standard. Too bad 26th is very near, we should probably target August 15th as the date for this to appear as FA on the main page. --Gurubrahma 15:32, 17 January 2006 (UTC)[edit] Thanks...Thank ye Shresht for protecting my userpage. Please come and help it become a featured-standard article. - Ganeshk (talk) 23:44, 20 January 2006 (UTC) [edit] Artemis FowlWell i'm simply appalled at the quality of Artemis Fowl articles. Even though the book wont have its own project page, could you help me rewrite most of the stuff here on the lines of HP articles? P.S I've just created template: {{Artemis Fowl}} अमेय आर्यन DaBroodey 18:40, 21 January 2006 (UTC) Oh well i created a project page. Wikipedia:WikiProject Artemis Fowl. I know it's bad when someone passes my score. I'm going to retake the test purely for the fact I don't want to be that high anymore. Sadly, I think I'm always going to be that high. I haven't taken the test since August, so here I go! SWD316 talk to me 01:15, 22 January 2006 (UTC) [edit] InabilitySorry Shreshth. I need to take a short break due to severe tooth problems. I hope you will have some time to consider the work and give it an up or down vote. Please don't consider this soliciting - I'm requesting your participation. Thanks! Rama's Arrow 04:28, 24 January 2006 (UTC) [edit] Re:PII and FRHI Shreshth91 - thanks for your vote of support on PII! My comments and suggestions on FR are mainly derived from my experiences on peer review and presently FAC on PII. In my opinion you should watch both PII and Kerala FACs to get a feel for the comments, problems and support to expect when you put this baby up for it. Rama's Arrow 17:56, 24 January 2006 (UTC) [edit] Lawmaking procedure in IndiaHi there! I don't base my Wikipedia actions on the future of the article; I base them on the article that I (and any other visitors) can read. The current, one-sentence article ought not to exist; things that link to it would better link to Indian government. If you don't agree, feel free to explain why - on the talk page, as the template suggests. -Ikkyu2 16:23, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Lothal PRHi Shreshth91, I know you're busy with PR on FR of India, but I hope you'll have some time to check out this article which I've expanded recently. Your closer knowledge of Indian history will aid considerably in its improvement. Happy R-Day (and 76th anniversary of Independence) in the homeland! Jai Sri Rama! [edit] SWD316Hi Shreshth91, I wanted to let you know that I'm sorry if you thought that me leaving was directed from your comment. It wasn't. I have just been under some real-life stress and difficulties that I haven't resolved yet. I hope I didn't offend you with anything I said. I think your a great guy too. I was just upset that you mentioned something as insignificant as the WP:HOLICTEST test on my RFA, among the other things brought up there (ex: my fake new messages box is another topic on my RFA I was mad about). I also contacted you to let you know that I am reconsidering staying with Wikipedia but as of now, I am leaving until my real-life situation is fixed. SWD316 talk to me 03:46, 1 February 2006 (UTC) [edit] MeYeah, I know I'm inactive and I don't know if or when I'll ever get to my 2004-2005 activity levels. I will try and pop in once a while, though there's also a possibility of me taking a long and extended wikibreak. On the other hand I'm glad that the Indian editor group has increased, bringing along a spurt in Indian FAs, something which I loved to produce. Anyways, best of luck in your contributions here in WP. Regards, =Nichalp «Talk»= 08:38, 1 February 2006 (UTC) [edit] Thank youFor your kind support of my Rfa, which passed. If you should ever have any complaints about my admin actions, please let me know. Also, should you ever need my help with anything, please do not hesitate to ask! Thanks again! Unfortunately, my fellow Wikipedians have decided at this time that I am not suitable to take on this additional responsibility, as the RfA failed with a result of 66/27/5 (71.0% support). If you voted in support of my request, thank you! If you decided to oppose me at this time, then I hope that if I do choose to reapply in the future, the effort I will make in the meantime to improve and expand my contributions to Wikipedia may persuade you to reconsider your position. [edit] My RFAHey, Shreshth91 (he with the awesome 1337 signature), I wanted to thank you for your support of my (unfortunately unsuccessful) request for adminship. The final tally was 37/16/5, which fell short of the needed 75-80% for "consensus". {{{2}}} I don't know if or when I'll go up for nomination again, but even if I don't, I will try not to betray the trust that you and 36 others were willing to place in me. Thanks for having faith in me... and happy editing! I intend to take things slowly and start using the extra abilities gradually, but if there's anything I can do just leave a message. Thank you for your comments on my request for adminship. It ultimately succeeded with votes of 52/1/2, but I wish to take any constructive comments into account and to ultimately improve my contributions to Wikipedia. Should you have any questions, comments, complaints, or requests at any point in the future, please do not hesitate to let me know on my talk page or via e-mail.
[edit] Wikipedians leavingHi Shreshth91. I saw your message on your user page about how we need to stop running off the users like freestylefrappe, Cool Cat and myself. Just to let you know Cool Cat and me have decided to stay on Wikipedia! Freestyle frappe on the other hand I think is gone for good. :-( In even more depressing news, you should see the Wikipedia:Esperanza/Alerts page. Users: Carbonite, Aaron, El_C, Pilotguy, Radiant!, and Aranda56 have all left Wikipedia! Now thats depressing. It was successful and I hope to be a good administrator. Essexmutant 11:44, 14 February 2006 (UTC) [edit] ThanksThanks for taking the time to vote in my RfA, which passed with a final vote of 54/2/1 despite my obvious inadequacy for the job. I'll do my level best to use the mop and bucket — or, as I said in my RfA, plunger — responsibly. Of course, in the best tradition of politicans everywhere, I've already broken a campaign promise (I blocked a vandal last night despite having said "I don't anticipate using the blocking tool very often"). Nevertheless, I'll try not to let the unbridled power corrupt me. —Josiah Rowe (talk • contribs) 14:56, 14 February 2006 (UTC) [edit] Thank youHello Shreshth91, thank you for you support in my RfA.
