Shrugged is an all-new comic series being published by Aspen MLT, publishers of Soulfire and Fathom. It is written by Aspen founder Michael Turner and vice president Frank Mastromauro and drawn by Aspen artist Micah Gunnell.
[edit] Summary
Shrugged focusses on the reasons behind every choice we make, and it personifies the voices on our shoulders, telling us what to do. The story follows a young teenager named Theo, who possesses two entities on his shoulder, Ange and Dev, who try to influence his every decision. They both come from an alternate dimension called Perspecta, where each citizen is assigned to a human being in our dimension.
So far, Ange is a representation of an angel and Dev is personified as a devilish troll, the typical stereotypes of conscience.
Further details are relatively unknown, as the series begins June 2006.
