SNMV college of arts of sciences is a college, situated in COIMBATORE, TAMILNADU.....

Its also called "SHRI NEHRU MAHA VIDYALAYA COLLEGE OF ARTS & SCIENCES"

It is managed by the "CWA-Coimbatore Welfare Association", and most of the members of this association are north Indians settled in south india..

Till my knowledge, there is only one active member, who is not a north Indian 'sait', and he is

SHRI.JAGHAMANI

This management is called as "Sait Management", this is because North Indians are called as "Saits" in Tamil Language...

Some 8-10 People started this management, with a motive of building a school, that school was called as SNV MATRICULATION, with some 14 students at the beginning, and then the school grew like anything, it became one of the famous schools in Coimbatore, and then the management decided to build a college..

This management has also built two HANUMAN TEMPLES

One is built by SHRI.PHOOLCHANDJI BHANDARI, in R.S.Puram SNV SCHOOL CAMPUS, and another temple is in SNMV COLLEGE CAMPUS, MALUMACHAMPATTI... This temple is built by JOINT CONTRIBUTION, Main contribution from the owner of "MAHAVEERS", "SHRI.BALCHANDJI BOTHRA"..... and the whole temple is run the TRUST, called as "SHRI JAI HANUMAN TEMPLE TRUST" and the managing trustee of this temple is SHRI.PHOOLCHANDJI BHANDARI...

Here the era of SNMV came into process... The management members got a land of nearly 55 ACRES (Approximately "2420000 Square Feet"), They got this land at a pretty cheap rate, it was around 15000 Rupees Acre... This was a slum area, which was completely a remote village called MALUMACHAMPATTI, but after this college was built, this area became famous... Now its heard that a famous construction company called as LARSEN & TOUBRO LIMITED (L&T) has purchased lands nearly of 200 acres in this area, so this area is on a boom now..
