Showa Memorial Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Showa Memorial Park (国営昭和記念公園 Kokuei Shōwa Kinen Kōen?) is a park in Akishima and Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan.

Bicycles may be hired in the park, which has an 11 kilometer course with parking areas at all locations. There is also an outdoor barbecue area.

In December the park has an illumination that fetures Christmas lighting. This park is not a public park in the sense that it is free. Users will pay a small fee to enter the park.

The park can be best accessed from Nishi-Tachikawa Station on the JR Ome line or about a 15 miniute walk from JR's Tachikawa Station. Image:ShowaPark.jpg
