Show Gate

Showgate was a champion New Zealand thoroughbred racehorse. She was by Gatekeeper out of Minglow, and foaled in 1969. She was horse of the year in 1977 and 1979. She won races from 1200 meters up to 2400 meters in record time. She was second to Good Lord in the 1977 Wellington Cup, carrying a very large weight, and running on three legs, as she was severely injured.
