Shovgenovsky District (Russian: Шовге́новский райо́н; Adyghe: Шэуджэн район) is one of the seven districts of the Republic of Adygea, Russia. The area of the district is 530 km²[citation needed]. Its administrative center is the aul of Khakurinokhabl. District's population: 16,388 (2002 Census). Population of Khakurinokhabl accounts for 23.4% of the district's population.
