Short Dawg is a Sunnyside, Houston, Texas-based rapper. He was recently signed to Russell Simmons Music Group and is part of the Detroit-based Street Lordz/Dirty Glove Entertainment Camp. He was also part of the Houston Mic Pass on The Pepsi Smash along with Lil Flip, Chamillionaire, Trae, Chingo Bling, Bun B, HAWK, Magno, and Mike D.. [1]

Pimp C of UGK has recently made a comment about Short Dawg in one of his song Gitcha Mind Right from his album Pimpalation.

Many believe that now the beef is over, now that it has been confirmed that Short Dawg is also featured on a new song with Bow Wow, Lil' Scrappy, Lil' Wayne, and Pimp C called "4 Corners".
