Shooting at the 1952 Summer Olympics

With the competitions in shooting at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, the Olympic shooting program began its expansion. Three new events were added: 100 m Running Deer, 50 m Rifle Three positions and Trap. In total there were seven events, all open to both men and women.
