[edit] Motivation

The key motivation for organising the AEGEE movie festival was the wish for a novel approach of not only promoting the idea of an integrated Europe among young people but also involving them in a process of active discussion.

[edit] Aims

  • Creating a platform for young, amateur and professional movie makers to show their work to the public and get the opportunity to get into contact with fellow short film producers and distributors, journalists and successful directors;
  • Motivating movie makers to create a new perspective on European issues;
  • Mobilizing the ambitious and creative people to contribute their points of view to the discussion on the issues touched on by the categories;
  • Promotion of the movies and movie makers after the festival.
