Shontelle Layne is a Barbadian, Soca singer/songwriter. She is popular in the Caribbean for her 2005 Bajan hit "Colours" in which she collaborated with another Bajan artist, Natahlee. She also wrote Alison Hinds' 2005/2006 hit "Roll". Shontelle was recently signed to Syndicated Rhythm Productions(SRP)/Universal Motown Records. The SRP label is run by the duo of Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers, the same group that led fellow Bajan Rihanna to stardom.
