Shoemaker Breeders' Cup Mile Stakes

The Shoemaker Breeders’ Cup Mile Stakes is a race for thoroughbred horses run as a Grade I from Hollywood Park, and is open to any horse age three and up. Raced at a distance of one mile on the turf, it's named in honor of legendary jockey Bill Shoemaker.
