[edit] 2006
The Shoebox Tour was started in the summer of 2006 with jugglers Jay Gilligan, Erik Åberg, and Marcus Monroe. These three jugglers traveled to six cities in the midwest including: Madison, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Arcadia, Pittsburgh, and Boulder. The venues used in the tour were small theaters, lecture halls, and colleges. The tour was done in the DIY style. The tour was a fundraiser for the Sean McKinney fund which was the main source of income for the 2nd Sean McKinney DVD.
[edit] Documentary
Both Marcus Monroe and Erik Åberg produced documentaries about the 2006 tour. Erik has yet to release his film, but Marcus has released his not-for-profit-or-sale DVD. The DVD includes Jay's surprising proposal to his then girlfriend Miku.
