Shoe insert

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Shoe inserts are wedge type shoe lifts that affix inside any footwear to make the user look taller. They are also called shoe lifts in North America and shoe wedges in the UK. They are used in all walks of life by men and women who wish to appear taller, look slimmer to others, or to correct a limb length discrepancy in one foot.

The term 'Shoe inserts' has become a mainstay in describing secret height increasing shoe lifts. They typically come in sizes ranging from 0.25 to 3 inches. Users of larger sizes obviously need to use high topped type footwear to allow the secret height increasing insert to fit comfortably inside the users footwear.

Approximately 5 million people on a daily basis wear shoe inserts in their footwear to appear taller as a secret method of height increase.[citation needed]

Interestingly 50% of shoe lift users appear to be women, according to a shoelift website.
