Let's make Wikipedia great! Do not stand for poor writing style and grammar!
I will work tirelessly to clean up poor grammar and unencyclopedic writing style on Wikipedia. This requires no prior knowledge of the article topic, just a grasp of the English language, so no poor grammar is safe!
I will also endeavor to remove the worst examples of orientalism which appear within Wikipedia's pages. With specific focus on Japan, I will attempt to smite, where I see it, the misinterpretation or mystification of the more banal, average and normal aspects of everyday Japanese culture. While I'm sure noone is interested, I should probably mention I have lived and worked full time in Japan since 2003, as this will give some background on my choice of articles I edit.
Feel more than free to correct me when I interpret, mystify (or more likely, de-mystify) something incorrectly!
[edit] Editing
- Wow that was plain weird. You posted on my page, to leave an edit summary. I went back to look at the edit, and I did not make that edit. The only thing I did was add the Anime Film Template at the bottom. I did not change the rest. I do not know how that happened. Maybe someone else was editing at the same time I was, or someone found out my password and used it. I really have no idea what happened. Casey14 03:08, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
