[edit] Source of Story

I think whoever created this article should cite the source where the story of how Shizuru got her Student President position. If not, I consider it making it up. 166.121.36.8 01:20, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

The Student Council President-election was displayed briefly in one of the DVD-extras. However, I think this article deserves to be either totally cleaned up, or then completely removed. It, frankly said, isn't very good. Rexas 07:26, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Well, with no objections received, I practically remade the article. Now, after all the trouble, I'd be quite happy if it weren't removed in an instant. Rexas 14:19, 28 July 2006 (UTC)

Looks much better. Slur 09:48, 11 August 2006 (UTC)

By the way...the Otome section of Shizuru's is a bit inaccurate. The official Sunrise title of her gem is the "Bewitching Amethyst" Not 'beguiling'. I purchased the (W)Otome Graph artbook so it has some interesting information. I'll share it later on once I've got the time. But seriously, anyone who adds stuff in here should check with official resources before posting. I made sure to read through as much material as I could before I added on to Shizuru's 'Hime' profile. -WK

[edit] Talk Page is for discussion, you know?

I sincerely wish people wouldn't add stuff into the article on their own without so much as leaving a mention of it for the talk page. You really may not be as right with your knowledge as you think you are! Rexas 10:21, 1 September 2006 (UTC)

I added some information that I read from the Mai Hime anime books volume 1 and 2. Some of the information included Natsuki and Shizuru's current relationship status that was mentioned by the director Yoshino Hiroyuki. I also added information on Shizuru's decision to become the next Student Council President. This was also taken from both volumes of the Mai Hime anime books from the novel entitled, "Natsuki's Prelude." This provides a lot of background information and sidestories of Natsuki's younger days as well as her blossoming friendship with Shizuru before and during the time of her presidency.

I'm reading the the complete Mai Hime novel set that I just recently purchased so if there's any other info that was left out, I'll be sure to mention it. I noticed that people have been adding stuff without actually reading official Sunrise documentation. I'm just here to correct it as I have been researching more of the character's personal data.

Good job. Having everyone explain their edits with a few words would be the best way to avoid vandalism. Another thing worth looking after is the exaggerated depth of details. After all, this is supposed to be an encyclopedic article, so not everything needs to be told here. Only what's relevant concerning the subject itself. Or, in this case, herself. Just 2 quick questions, but when did the Anime Handbooks comeout, cause I haven't seen anything about them? And was it translated by the company itself or did a fan do it, simply because the way it was worded seemed awfully awkward? I just mention the wording because I remember debates over the translation of the word suki (oh, and I apologize if I screwed up posting).216.37.176.194 00:27, 8 December 2006 (UTC)

-- The Mai Hime anime books came out in 2005

Mai Hime Anime book volume 1 - 2005/3/8 Mai Hime Anime book volume 2 - 2005/4/8

Here's the link to the artbooks section from the official Sunrise site. The two books in question are down below. You just have to scroll a bit (a couple books down) and you'll notice the books. These books have been out for some time now. http://www.sunrise-inc.co.jp/my-hime/web/products/mook.html In case you're wondering, I own all the artbooks and translated as much as I could. Afterall I'm fluent in Japanese. -WK

Thanks, I never saw or heard anything about these. I'll have to take your word on the translation then, because sadly I am not.216.37.176.194 03:10, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
