In 2005 and 2006 a well attended canoe and kayak race was held on a 7 mile section of the Shiawassee River between the cities of Holly,MI and Fenton,MI.

"Generally flows in a northerly direction"? Does this mean it sometimes flows in the other direction, or would ""Flows in a generally northern direction" be better? The Real Walrus 19:35, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
