Shivmangal Singh Suman

Shivmangal Singh 'Suman' is a leading Hindi writer and poet.
He was born on 5 August 1915 at Jhagarpur, Unnao diestrict in Uttar Pradesh in India.
He did M.A. and Ph.D. in hindi from Benaras Hindu University. Presently he is Executive President Kalidas Academy, Ujjain.

He was conferred Padma Shri by the Government of India in 1974 and Padma Bhushan in 1999. D.Litt. by Bhagalpur University in 1973 & by Jabalpur University in 1983.
