East London based Soundsystem formed by DJ & producer, Nerm in 2000. The Soundsystem sprang out of Nerm working with other artists within his DJ sets. Shiva Soundsystem tours the globe as well as running clubnights in and around East London. They have also done remixes for Asian Dub Foundation, Swami (musical band), Visionary Underground and Dhamaal. They also play many festivals and Nerm has a weekly radio show on the BBC Asian Network.

Shiva Soundsystem have a recently set up a record label, Shiva Soundsystem Recordings and their long-awaited debut single is Mumbai Cells. It is produced by member of the collective D-Code, features a vocal appearance by Buzz Singh and currently, is only available as a 12 inch vinyl record.

A date for a full length album is unknown.
