Shirley Solomon
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Shirley Solomon is a Canadian television host.
She hosted a daily afternoon talk show on CTV from 1989 to 1995. The Shirley Show was also tentatively slated to air on ABC in the United States, but the deal fell through before the show aired. However, the show was syndicated to several American television stations.
The show, which presented a panel discussion of a controversial issue before a live audience, was similar in format to American talk shows such as those hosted by Phil Donahue and Sally Jessy Raphaël.
When Solomon's show ended in 1995, CTV's afternoon talk show slot was taken up by Camilla Scott.
