The Shire of Peppermint Grove is a Local Government Area of Western Australia. It covers an area of 1.1 km² in western metropolitan Perth, the capital of Western Australia, between Mosman Park and Claremont and lies about 12 km southwest of the Perth CBD. The Shire of Peppermint Grove is the smallest local government area in Australia.

The Peppermint Grove Road Board was gazetted in 1895 and on 1 July 1961, became a Shire Council following changes to the Local Government Act.[1]
