Shinseiki GPX - Cyber Formula

Shinseiki GPX - Cyber Formula is a Super Famicom game that takes place in the mid 21st century. The player is a racer in the Formula 1 series of the future and the goal is to win every race. The automobiles are spruced up and the player must qualify in order to make it into the main event, unlike Circuit USA, where the player automatically makes it into the show regardless of how slow he drives. There is a free mode, a password mode, and a scenario mode which plays like a Japanese anime movie. In the scenario mode, the object is to guide an up and coming driver to the ultimate victory. Quitting once means game over so that player always should retry if he loses. Unlimited continues means that anyone can beat the game from the beginner to the experts.

• In qualifying mode, you have a warm-up lap and two timed laps. Save your energy for the first timed lap. Then hold the X button until the first lap is time. Then, release the X button and drive normally for the second time lap. You will make the main event with this tip.
