Shinonsen, Hyogo

Shinonsen (新温泉町; -cho) is a town located in Mikata District, Hyogo Prefecture, Japan.
The city was founded on October 1, 2005, as a result of the merger between the towns of Onsen and Hamasaka.
As of January 1, 2006, the town has an estimated population of 18,292 and a density of 76 persons per km². The total area is 241.0 km².
