Shin Ae Ra (신애라) is a Korean actress, born March 7, 1969. Since 1995 she has been married to actor Cha In Pyo and she has one son. She is best known for the television series Bad Housewife, made in 2005 by SBS. She is also a radio DJ.

In 2005 she and her husband Cha In Pyo adopted a baby girl who was named Ye-eun. The reason for the adoption was to encourage people to adopt children.

She is a graduate of Chung-Ang University.
