Shimukappu, Hokkaido

Shimukappu (占冠村; -mura) is a village located in Yūfutsu District, Kamikawa, Hokkaido, Japan.

As of 2004, the village has an estimated population of 1,754 and a density of 3.07 persons per km². The total area is 571.31 km².

Shimukappu and Tomamu have a Student Exchange/Sister City program with Aspen, CO.
