Shimon Adaf

Shimon Adaf (Born 1972, the town of Sderot), an Israeli poet, and author.

Published in some poetry magazines. In 1994 was a part of the band suffer's aristocracy that released one album, "Need"

His first poetry book, "Icarus` Monologue" (Gvanim) was well received by critics, and won a prize from the Israeli Ministry of Education. From 1996 to 2000, he studied at Tel Aviv University, simultaneously writing articles on literature, film and rock music for leading newspapers as well as continuing his musical activities. In the years 2000-2005, he was the prose editor of Keter Publishing House.
