Shimokita District, Aomori

Shimokita (下北郡; -gun) is a district located in Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
As of 2003, the district has an estimated population of 36,037 and a density of 31 persons per km² (80 persons per mi²). The total area is 1,168.90 km² (450 mi²).
