Shimoge District, Ōita

Shimoge (下毛郡 Shimoge-gun?) was a district located in Ōita, Japan. On March 1, 2005, the district was dissolved when the four towns that it comprised were absorbed by Nakatsu City.
In 2003, the district had an estimated population of 17,827 with a density of 40.98 persons per km². The total area is 435.03 km².
