Shikellamy High School

Shikellamy High School is a public high school located in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. It is the senior high school for the towns of Sunbury and Northumberland. The school has about 1100 students in grades 9-12. The head principal of the school is Terry Roden. The school recently added a new edition, extending into the old tennis courts. The addition allowed for a larger gym, cafeteria, and band room.

Shikellamy High School offers many extracurricular activities to its students. It has many clubs, including: foreign language clubs, Future Scientists/Business Leaders of America, science clubs, drama clubs, and community service clubs. Students may also participate in baseball, softball, basketball, wrestling, field hockey, football, soccer, track and field, cross-country and tennis teams. The school is well-known for its band, as well as its baseball, basketball, and forensics teams. The school also offers a variety of Advanced Placement and Honors courses to prepare students for college. These courses include history, biology, english and calculus.
