Shikarpur is a town of in Muzaffarnagar District of India. It is situated about 0 km from the right bank of the Hindan River, with a railway station, 30 km SE., of Muzaffarnagar. Shikarpur has always been an important place as it has historical importance, having a Fort and a Mosque, built by the Mughal Emperor Humayu. It has a large area under cultivation.
