Established on March 22nd, 1965. Shih Hsin University Chorus (SHUC) has taken chorus popularization as purpose for more than 32 years. The regular schedule include to held Scholastic Performance, Winter Music Camp, External Performance in spring vacation, and Annual Performance in June. The chorus members insist principles of ”Contribute most but indulge least”.

SHUC is growing and changing. From year 2000, we started “Choral Theatre” experiment, under the leading of our conductor Mr. Yuan-Lei Chu, he encourage us to add theatre elements to the music. The whole purpose is to present abstract music in more angles through performing arts.

In the future, we would like to advocate more people to join the beauty of choral harmony as well as bringing the voices of Taiwan youth to the world and experience different culture as possible.
