Shigemi "Eddie" Hagihara

Shigemi "Eddie" Hagihara (b. March 29, 1935) is an aikido instructor in New York. He holds the rank of 7th dan from the Aikikai.
He originally trained at New York Aikikai of which he was one of the founding members and also at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo. In 1964, he opened the first aikido dojo on Long Island.
