Hello! I need to let you know a couple of things:
- I edited your work at Mike Leonard conform better with the Manual of Style. I rearranged it to follow other biography articles, I took out external links to Amazon.com (use the {{cite book}} template, so readers can search all stores by ISBN or DOI) and to campjinx.com, and changed the apple.com link to the interview with Mike instead of the interview with Brendan. No worries - the entry isn't as long as it was when I found it, but it is more concise, and I tagged it as a stub.(Most of our articles start out as stubs.) Take a look at the Manual of Style and some other biography entries for more information. Since you're related, you should also see the autobiography guidelines for subjects and their relatives/friends who wish to edit their own entries. Your content was great, and as you work with biographies you'll get more comfortable with the format.
- About the image and the above notice of 'copyright problems': Wikipedia is fanatical about copyright violations. Apple Computer defends its copyrights vigorously, and this image is lifted straight from an apple.com page that says "©2006 Apple Computer" at the bottom. It may be okay to leave in after all, but an administrator will decide and they'll let you know right here on this very talk page. I'd suggest that you should consider scanning in a family photo instead. I took all the graphics out of the Mike Leonard entry because the company logo didn't really belong there all by itself and we usually don't put book covers into biography entries unless it's a very famous person and book. For the current length of this stub, I would only put in a small photo, say 250px at the most.
If you have questions, please drop by my talk page, which you can find by clicking the red "balls" link in my signature. Again, welcome - we're glad you're here! Baseball,Baby! balls•strikes 14:37, 15 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Photos, photos, and more photos
Hi, Ari! Thanks for the message - I was wondering how you were doing!
I took a quick look at your photos, and they seem to be tagged incompletely, rather than incorrectly. Take a look at Wikipedia:Fair_use#Tagging_fair_use_image_files, and you'll see some tags that will take care of this small problem. The tags you're looking for are {{Tv-screenshot}}, for the screenshot of those cute guys, and {{Promotional}}, for the official promo photo of Brendan solo.
Edit the images. Now, take out your textual explanation, and in its place put in the appropriate tag for the appropriate image. Then preview - you should now see some text about 'this is a promotional photo' or 'this is a screenshot', depending on which image you're editing. If all looks good, save. The Help:Image_page#Fair_use_rationale will give you some help on the actual mechanics of the switch.
The bots (I think it's OrphanBot, but I could be wrong) should go back through over the next couple of days and remove the 'tag me or else' warnings when it sees that one exists. If that doesn't happen, or if something goes wrong and the images somehow get deleted, just upload them again and tag them as 'fair use' with these tags as your explanation. You can also leave a message on the talk page of the bot.
We're in the middle of a crackdown on fair use images, because some people upload them and stick them on their user pages or use them inappropriately. The best images to use here are noncopyrighted, but that's not going to happen for album covers or TV shows so we allow fair use photos under strict conditions. Also, some people get mixed up thinking that they are the author of a photo from a TV screenshot or an album cover, but because the content was created by a studio or network, the studio or network is still the author and it's a fair use image.
I'm visiting the Mouse House on vacation, but I'll check in on you again later this week to see how you're doing (I can't stay offline or away from here very long anyway!). Don't get discouraged, because your articles look great. If it all went smoothly, there wouldn't be any reason for talk pages, would there? :-)
Have a good week, and let me know if you have more questions. I'll be back full-time after August 7, but as I said I'll check in periodically. If you need immediate help, just stick {{helpme}} on your user page and someone will be by shortly. Have a good week, and happy editing - Baseball,Baby! balls•strikes 01:32, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
