Sherif Samir Samy, Egyptian (born in Alexandria), has a diversified experience as a senior executive, project manager, advisor and new ventures sponsor in a range of fields that encompass: corporate finance, private equity investment, organizational & human resources development, in addition to e-business and information technology.

He is the Chairman of a number of firms, these include: executive search and compensation consulting firm “SKILLRATE Advisors SAE”, online career advisory and employment service provider “skill-link.com”; software and educational technology company "eKnowledge SAE" and Managing Director of the corporate finance firm “FINRATE CONSULTING SAE”. Additionally, he serves as a board member of “Investor Relations Egypt SAE” and “Cairo Capital Group SAE” .

Sherif Samy is a member of the Economic Committee of the National Democratic Party’s Policy Secretariat.

He started his professional career by joining Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), one of the largest multinational management and IT consulting firms. He worked in their offices in Chicago, Riyadh and Beirut. His final position before moving back to Egypt in 1995 was Senior Manager, heading the firm’s Middle East financial services practice.

Sherif Samy graduated from Alexandria University’s Faculty of Commerce with high honors. He also received a diploma in business from the Paris Chamber of Commerce & Industry; and attended numerous executive and management development courses at the Harvard Business School, the Wharton School of Business, the Anderson School of Management (University of California at Los Angeles), the Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University), the Leonard Stern School of Business (New York University), the IMD (Lausanne) and others.

Designed and conducted training sessions for senior executives, middle managers and junior professionals in Egypt, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. He also presented public lectures on numerous occasions, addressing a wide range of topics at the International Institute of Finance (IIF), Future Generation Foundation, the National Telecommunication Institute, the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, the Egyptian Human Resources Management Association, the Saudi Computer Society, the Saudi Arabian Institute of Banking, the Egyptian Capital Market Association, the Arab Capital Markets Association, Cairo University's Faculty of Economics, Cairo University's Faculty of Mass Communications and the Management Forum of the Fulbright Foundation. Sherif Samy has a number of articles published in newspapers, magazines and periodicals in addition to several press and TV interviews.
