Died: 22nd January 1999, Los Angeles, California, U.S.A.
Sherrick got his professional break by Raynoma Gordy, ex-wife of Motown founder Berry Gordy.
He achieved chart crossover successes with 'Just Call' and 'Let's Be Lovers Tonight'
Sherrick had also cut many tracks as a background singer on various projects.
Having not recorded during the main part of the nineties, Sherrick had begun putting some new songs together when he tragically died in 1999.
The are no plans to issue any of the later recordings he made allegedly due to the objection of family members.
Sherrick left behind a wife and 3 children.
