Sher Jehan Mir is the Chief Executive Officer of karakuram bank Northern Areas Gilgit and chairman of Pak-China barter trading corporation Ltd. He is also a fellow of [[1]]Institute of Bankers Pakistan and member of the executive committee of National Co-operative Union of Pakistan.He secured first position award in co-operative banking from Institute of Bankers Pakistan in 1985. he has represented Pakistan abroad in various seminars and conferences on co-operative banking he led a number of delegations of barter/border trade to Peoples Republic of China and central asian states and initiated the first ever barter/border trade agreement between Pakistan and China via the silk route.
